Par Par Lay & The Moustache Brothers are a troupe of comedians, dancers, and musicians from Mandalay who perform traditional Burmese vaudeville-style theatre. They have been known for many years as Burma's only outspoken political dissidents under the oppressive military regime.
Par Par Lay is one of Myanmar's best known A Nyient performers (comedians). He was imprisoned by the military junta for 5 years for performing an act at Aung San Suu Kyi's house that satirised the junta's generals
